Two Summer Writing Workshops for Novels and Picture Books

Join Literary Agent Jill Corcoran and me for one or both of two summer writing workshops for novels and picture books. Both workshops will take place on-line so wherever you are in the world, join us from the comfort of your own home. 

novelwritingworkshop1) Novel Writing Intensive – Middle Grade, Young Adult, Adult

All Genres
All writing levels
Intensive limited to 8 writers
8 Weeks In this 8-week on-line program, Jill and I will provide feedback as you develop/refine your novel concept, characters, plot, dialogue, dramatic action, emotional moments, and themes.

Thursdays 10am – 12:30pm Pacific/1pm – 3:30pm Eastern
June 21, 28, July 5, 12 , 19, 26, Aug 2, 9
Weekly 2 1/2 hours discussions based on assigned homework from the Plot Whisperer Workbook and feedback from both Jill and me that applies to your individual plot and novel elements for a total of 8 discussion sessions. For details: go here.

advancedpicturebookworkshop2) Advanced Picture Book Workshop

Intensive limited to 8 writers
6 Meetings: 3 Weeks, twice a week
In this on-line program, Jill and I provide feedback as you develop/refine your picture book concept, characters, plot, as well as your pitch and query.

Tuesdays and Fridays 10am – 12:30pm Pacific/1pm – 3:30pm Eastern July 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27
Twice-Weekly 2 1/2 hours discussion based on assigned homework and feedback from both Jill and me that applies to your individual plot and picture book elements for a total of 6 discussion sessions. For details: go here
